A few months ago I fell sucker to yet another Facebook at. They have been really getting me lately!
This one was for high end secondhand clothing- that you can shop online for! An online thrift store? Yes please! Now I just need an online Marshalls and I will be the happiest girl in the world.
ThredUp is a company that gets gently used clothing from normal folks like us and they sells them at deeply discounted prices. I bought so many pieces for only $49! Think J. Crew and Express and H&M.
Watch my ThredUp haul to see what I found at this amazing online thrift store!
Ok, you agree with me right? Simply amazing clothes and they were so affordable! They were even cheaper than the prices I was saying because I also used a coupon for 40% off my first purchase. (always google coupon codes before you check out! I also use the Honey google chrome extension to find coupons and eBates to get cash back on most purchases!)
Their website is amazing. You can search by anything you can think of, and their filters make it so you get exactly what you want to see. They also have an amazing app that works SO well!
You can search by brand:
And you can search by just your sizes. Once you set them, all you have to do is toggle that option on and whatever you search, only your sizes will display. Super easy!
They also have seasonal shops so you can browse through what is on trend for the season, and they will often have special sales on those items too!
So what do you think? Will you try out ThredUp?
If you sign up using my link, you’ll get $10 to spend and so will I! So thanks in advance, but if you’re not comfortable with that just search for ThredUp!
My Mom gave me a $25 Sephora gift card for my birthday this August, and I was waiting until Black Friday to use it so I could maximize my purchases… but then I lost it for a while. I discovered it again when I was cleaning a couple weeks ago, so off I went to Sephora.com to see what I wanted.
It’s always hard to choose what to get from Sephora even when money isn’t an issue. I challenged myself to stay as close as I could to $25 and see how much I could get.
At first, I was determined to get as many lipsticks as I could. I picked out a double ended Bite Beauty lipstick, and a Sephora Matte lipgloss thing. That was it. I was already over $25.
Then I thought maybe I would get a new/second BeautyBlender because I love them so much. Boom. $25 reached.
Then I looked under their Travel section where everything was a smaller size, and therefore a smaller pricetag. Perfect. I was able to try out 5 moisturizers I’ve been eyeing, and a quick Google search showed that there was a free sample bag for purchases over $25.
When I got to checkout, there was another surprise! 100 points! So I looked through their 100 Point Perks, and picked out the LipSurgence Skintuitive lip gloss.
Wa lah! And just like that, a tiny Sephora haul was born!
What are your favorite cheap thrills from Sephora?
